This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer: "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Presiding Officer, Motor Accident Claim Tribunal, Jhansi to decide the Motor Accident Claim Petition No. 144/2020 (Ram Kishore Vs. Shakeel and others) pending before him expeditiously within Stipulated period of time so that justice be done." 2. It is contended that Motor Accident Claim Petition No.144 of 2020 is pending consideration before Motor Accident Claim Tribunal, Jhansi. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for early disposal of the said claim petition. 3. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, the writ petition is being disposed of, at the admission stage, without calling for counter affidavit or issuing notice to private respondents, with a direction upon Presiding Officer, Motor Accident Claim Tribuna, Jhansi to decide the Motor Accident Claim Petition No. 144 of 2020 (Ram Kishore Vs. Shakeel and others), in accordance with law, after hearing all affected parties, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. 4. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. 5. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
