This Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed for the following relief:
“to issue a writ or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the 4th respondent in superannuating the petitioners on completion of 58 years of w.e.f. 31.07.2016 and 30.06. 2016 as illegal unreasonable and unconstitutional on

account of G.O.Ms.No.138 Finance HR IVFR Department dated 8.8.2017 and the orders of the Honble Supreme Court in SLP C No.13623 of 2017 dated 9.8.2017 and for a consequential direction to continue the petitioners in service upto completion of 60 years of age with all consequential benefits and to pass...”
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that in view of the subsequent events taken place in the lis, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for further adjudication and the Writ Petition has become infructuous.
3. Recording the submission made by learned counsel for the petitioners, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no orders as to costs.
