MINERAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION LTD., MANGAMPET, YSR DISTRICT. ...RESPONDENT(S): Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not according permission to the Petitioner Association and its members to conduct peaceful protest/relay hunger strike in front of the office of the 8th respondent from 12-11-2018 as being arbitrary, illegal, contrary to the law laid down by the Honourable Supreme court of India in AIR 1962 SC 1166 and AIR 1998 and in violation of Article 19(1)(a) and (b) of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to consider the request dated 02-11-2018 and accord permission to the petitioner and its member for conducting peaceful protest in front of the O/o the 8th respondent w.e.f. 12-11-2018 in accordance with law and to pass IA NO: 1 OF 2018 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to direct the respondents to direct the respondents 1 to 7 to accord permission to the petitioners Association and its members to hold peaceful protest in front of the office of the 8th respondent from 12-11-2018 duly considering their representation dated 2- 11-2018 keeping in view of the provisions of Article 19(1)(b) of Constitution of India and to pass Counsel for the Petitioner: 1. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the relief has become infructuous in this matter. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader is in attendance. 5. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed since the relief has become infructuous. No order as to costs.
