The petition was disposed of by the predecessor bench vide order dated 22.01.2025, thereby directing release of the petitioner on furlough subject to certain conditions enlisted in that order including furnishing of a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- with one surety. Now through this application, the petitioner seeks permission to be released on cash surety bond since he is unable to arrange individual surety. 2. Learned ASC has filed Status Report and in all fairness does not oppose the application because according to the documents collected while preparing the Status Report, it got revealed that earlier also the petitioner was released on cash surety and he duly surrendered after the furlough period, though with a delay of one day.
