JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned High Court Government Pleader takes notice for both the respondents. 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the first respondent-Tahsildar, Nelmangala Taluk has not acted upon the representation given by the petitioner seeking entry of the name of the petitioner in the revenue records pursuant to the registered sale deed dated 19.06.2024 executed through the Competent Civil Court, on the petitioner succeeding in O.S.No.166/2010, which was a - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:34448 WP No. 16902 of 2025 suit for specific performance. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the Tahsildar is of the opinion that another suit was filed at the hands of Sri.Shankar, the previous owner of the property and therefore, the Court has to take a decision in that matter. Learned counsel submits that the said suit in O.S.No.870/2024 was also dismissed on 08.04.2025. 3. Having regard to the fact that a competent Civil Court has executed a sale deed in favour of the petitioner, the respondent No.1 is duty bound to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records, dehors the fact that another suit was filed by the previous vendor. Nevertheless, even the said suit appears to have been dismissed at the hands of the Civil Court. 4. In that view of the matter, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1- Tahsildar, Nelamangala Taluk, to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records pursuant to the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:34448 WP No. 16902 of 2025 registered sale dated 19.06.2024 as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
