2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Pratappur P.S. Case No. 141 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 140(1), 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and later on Section 103(1) of the B.N.S. has been added, pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Chatra.
3. On 14.12.2024, at about 07:00 P.M., son of the informant namely Vikash Kumar was abducted by the named accused persons and thereafter, he was found murdered.
4. It was submitted that the petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. It was further submitted that the name of the petitioner has come in confession of co-accused Vikash Bharti. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.
5. Mr. Ajay Kumar Pathak, Learned A.P.P. assisted by Mr. Pankaj Verma,
learned counsel appearing on behalf of the informant has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail. However, on specific query whether incriminating article was recovered on the pointing out of this petitioner, they replied in negative.
6. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Chatra in connection with Pratappur P.S. Case No. 141 of 2024.
