By way of the present petition, the petitioner is seeking following prayers: “...(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing Respondent Nos. l & 2 (State of NCT of Delhi I Commissioner of Police, Delhi) and Respondent Nos.3 & 4 (State of Chhattisgarh I DGP) to immediately provide adequate and effective 24*7 protection to the Petitioner and his immediate family; (ii) Direct the appropriate Respondent police authorities to register FIR(s) and institute an immediate, independent and impartial investigation into the acts of forgery, threats, false implication, defamation and criminal conspiracy referred to in This is a digitally signed order. In these circumstances, let the present petition be treated as a representation filed on behalf of the petitioner herein for being provided with Witness Protection before the learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, South District, Delhi, who may expeditiously decide the same. 7.
