Even otherwise also, through the medium of the instant petition, the petitioner has sought a direction against the respondents to engage the petitioner as RET. It has been brought to the notice of this Court that the scheme has since been closed and the matter is pending adjudication before the Apex Court and thus, the instant petition with the efflux of time has been rendered infructuous. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous. Interim direction, if any, shall stand vacated.
