Order on Board 05.08.2025
1. Heard Mr. Vishvanath Prasad Shrivas, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. Vivek Kumar Shrivastava, learned counsel for the respondent.
2. This criminal revision has been filed by the applicant seeking following relief:
“It is therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to allow this Criminal Revision and Quash/Set-aside the order dated 07/12/2022 passed by family Court Janjgir, District-Janjgir-Champa (C.G.) in Misc. Criminal Case No. 92/2022 and an
order may also be passed in favor of the petitioner's for grant of interim maintenance till final disposal of the case before the learned court below, in the interest of justice.”
3.
Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the parties have amicably resolved their disputes and a mutual compromise has been arrived at. It is further submitted that in view of the said compromise and subsequent dissolution of marriage, the applicant does not wish to pursue the present revision any further.
4. A perusal of the documents placed on record reveals that the parties have indeed entered into a compromise on 21.01.2025 and thereafter obtained a decree of divorce by mutual consent on 18.03.2025 by the Family Court, Janjgir-Champa. The compromise appears to be voluntary and without any coercion.
5. In view of the same, the instant criminal revision is disposed of.
