GP FOR HOME (AP) 3 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 39069/2018 The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer: “….to issue an order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not registering the complaint filed by the petitioner to the 2nd respondent, which was received on 05-10-2018, as capricious, unconstitutional, and as such liable to be set aside in the interest of justice with a consequential direction to the respondents to register the complaint and take appropriate action against the culprits, forthwith and pass.…” 2. Heard Bollina Ramamohana Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri V.Farook, learned Assistant Government Pleader. 3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that a criminal case has been registered against the petitioner in Crime No.342 of 2018, on the file of Chintalpudi Police Station, West Godavari District, for offences punishable under Section 447, 506 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code (for short ‘IPC’). Learned Assistant Government Pleader would further submit that, since the crime has been registered, the petitioner are being called to the police station. 4. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
