This Court, vide order dated 22.08.2024, passed in MCRC No. 5193 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the petitioner, namely, Pramod Rai, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on occasion also, this Court had granted extension of time for RAJSHEKHAR SONI Digitally signed by RAJSHEKHAR SONI 2 conclusion of the trial vide order dated 03.03.2025 in CRMP No. 732/2025. 4. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Ramanujganj, District – Balrampur-Ramanujganj (C.G.) through the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Balrampur at Ramanujganj (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 27.06.2025 has requested for grant of one months’ time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that in the present case the evidence of the accused is recorded before the trial Court and the trial is at the stage of recording of the defence witnesses. Hence, trial is likely to take some time for its conclusion. Hence, he prays for grant of one months’ time for concluding the trial. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of one month from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. 8.
