The grievance of the Petitioners is that the officials of the Respondent No.1 are threatening to demolish the structures erected by them in the subject land and they have disconnected municipal water supply to their houses and are also threatening to disconnect power supply to the Petitioners’ house without any reason and without issuing any notice. 2. This Court on 07.10.2014 after hearing the learned Standing Counsel for Respondent No.1 passed interim order restraining the Respondents from interfering with the possession and enjoyment of the properties of the Petitioners except in accordance with law. 3. Now, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondents submits that due process will be followed if the Respondent Authorities intend to dispossess the Petitioners from the subject property. 4. In that view, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the Respondent Authorities to follow the procedure recognised under law before taking any coercive action against the Petitioners. No order as to costs.
