The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Ghaghra P.S. Case No. 73 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. Case No. 85 of 2025, for the offence under Sections 331(4) and 305 of the B.N.S., pending in the court of Sri Prateek Raj, learned J.M., 1st class, Gumla. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 2477/2025, by order dated 27.03.2025. During the intervening night of 10.9.2024, theft was committed in the house of the informant by unknown thieves. They took away jewelries, mobile phone and other articles from there. During the course of investigation, the stolen mobile phone was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was submitted that petitioner is in custody since 29.11.2024. Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Prateek Raj, learned J.M., 1st class, Gumla, or his successor, in connection with Ghaghra P.S.
