CORAM: HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE ANU SIVARAMAN and HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RAJESH RAI K ORAL JUDGMENT (PER: HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE ANU SIVARAMAN) This Court by judgment dated 12.04.2023 had
directed the passing of the award, sending of award notice and deposit of the compensation amount in the jurisdictional Court within eights weeks. Thereafter, the claims of these stakeholders was to be adjudicated and the compensation was to be released within three months.

Learned counsel for the respondent-accused submits that the Award has been passed and an amount of Rs.11 Crores has been deposited in Court.

A memo is placed on record by the learned counsel for the complainant wherein it is submitted that direction issued by the learned Single Judge was on 12.04.2023 and that the deposit has been made long beyond the stipulated time, without seeking any extension before the learned Single Judge. It is also submitted that the compliance is defective since an amount of Rs.27 Crores and odd has been deposited by the BMRCL before the SLAO but only an amount of Rs.11 Crores and odd has been deposited by the SLAO before the Civil Court.
4. Having considered the contentions advanced, we notice that there is a delay in complying with the order of the learned Single Judge which has not been explained by the accused. However, in view of the unconditional apology tendered by the accused in the compliance
