Heard the parties.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Namkum P.S. Case No. 206 of 2025, for the offence under Sections 111(2)(ii), 179, 180, 181, 317(2), 318(4), 319(2), 336(2), 336(3), 336(4), 338, 340(2) & 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Sections 66 (C) & 66(D) of the I.T. Act, pending in the court of Sri Mayank Maliyaz, learned J.M., 1st class, Ranchi.
On 04.07.2025, Namkum Police on the basis of confidential information that Cyber criminals have assembled in village Mahuatoli, raided the house of co-accused Amit Kumar and apprehended the petitioner and co-accused persons. On search, four mobile phones were recovered from the possession of the petitioner.
It was submitted that the police has not recorded the statement of any witnesses to show that mobile phones, which were recovered from the petitioner, were used in cheating anybody.
In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Mayank Maliyaz, learned J.M., 1st class, Ranchi, or his successor, in connection with Namkum P.S. Case No. 206 of 2025.
