RAVI KUMAR PONAKAMPALLI The Court Made the Following Order:- This Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed for the following relief: “to issue a Writ Order or direction more in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the 1st respondent in not paying the HRA to the petitioner after deducting the rent amount as fixed to the petitioner as was done in the cases of similarly situated Junior 2 Lecturers and other staff of the APSW Residential School/Junior College Srikrishnapuram Near New Central Prison Visakhapatnam and consequently direct the respondents to pay the HRA after deducting the fixed rent to the petitioner and further direct the respondents to pay the arrears of HRA and to pass...” 2. There was no representation on behalf of the petitioner on the last occasion i.e. on 25.04.2025 and the matter was directed to be listed under the caption “for dismissal”. Even today, when the matter is called, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 3. Learned Standing Counsel for APRSEI appearing on behalf of respondent No.1 submitted that the petitioner herein retired from service on 30.06.2021 and has taken all retirement benefits without any protest 4. In that view of the matter, the Writ Petition is dismissed for default. There shall be no orders as to costs.
