The present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the applicants-Jahir Khan and Bechu Prasad with the following prayers: "It is therefore most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to allow the application, and quash the further proceedings of Case No.153/15, State Vs. Jahir Khan and another, U/s 419, 420, 504, 506 IPC, Police Station Bans Deeh, Kotwali, District Ballia, arising out of case crime no.828/14, pending in the court of Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate Ist, Ballia. It is further be pleased to stay the further proceeding of Case No.153/15, State Vs. Jahir Khan and another, U/s 419, 420, 504, 506 IPC, Police Station Bans Deeh, Kotwali, District Ballia. It is also further be pleased to stay the impugned charge sheet dated 23.02.2015 and N.B.W. order dated 20.11.2015 passed by Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate Ist, Ballia in the aforesaid case. And/or may be pleased to pass such further and suitable order as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper under the facts and circumstances of the case." 5. This matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court vide order dated 16.11.2017 subject to deposit of Rs. 10,000/-by the applicants. As per report of the Registrar (Crl.) dated 5.4.2018, the applicants have not deposited the said money before the Centre till 4.4.2018. 6. In view of the same, this matter is reported by the office through the report dated 4.8.2025 of Registrar (J) (Listing) that it is likely to be infructuous. 7. Perused the records. 8. Since there is no one appearing on behalf of the applicants to press this application U/s 482 Cr.P.C., the matter being likely to have become infructuous by efflux of time, the same is dismissed as such. 9. The present application is dismissed as infructuous. 10. Interim order, if any, stands vacated. 11.
