Both these bail applications arise out of the same police case. Accordingly, both these cases are being disposed of by a common
order.
2. Heard the parties.
3. The petitioners have been made accused in connection with Complaint Case No. 21732/2025, for the offences registered under Sections 47(a), (b), (c), (e), 52 & 55 of the Excise Act, pending in the Court of learned A.C.J.M., Ranchi.
4. On 26.06.2025, Excise Department intercepted several vehicles. On search, huge quantity of English liquor was recovered from those vehicles.
5. It was submitted that in B.A. No. 8226/2025, petitioner Rengtu Gorain happens to be Cook, while petitioner Sigu Munda happens to be security Guard of the factory and in B.A. No. 8608/2025, petitioner Bipin Kumar happens to be Computer Operator of the factory, in front
of which the vehicles were parked, while petitioner Akhilesh Kumar happens to be the driver of the seized vehicle. It was further submitted that co-accused Suryadev Singh has been granted bail by this Court earlier vide B.A. No. 7785/2025 by order dated 11.09.2025.
6. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, named above, are
directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., Ranchi in connection with Complaint Case No. 21732/2025.
