SREENIVASA REDDY WRIT PETITION No.24261 of 2015 ORDER: This Writ Petition has been filed to declare the election notices issued by 3rd respondent on 24.04.2015 and 01.05.2015 for conducting election to the Presidentship of the District Cooperative Central Bank, Kadapa as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 6 to continue the petitioner as president of 5th respondent-Bank. 2. Earlier, on three occasions, there was no representation for the petitioner. In view of the said reason, the matter was posted to today under the caption ‘for dismissal’. Though the matter has been posted under the caption ‘for dismissal, today when the matter is called, none represented on behalf of the petitioner. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing on behalf of State submits that the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive and the matter has become infructuous since the issue is with regard to conducting elections for the year 2015. 4. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs. 4 5.
