GP FOR ENDOWMENTS (AP) The Court made the following: ORDER: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief: “… to issue a writ in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of 2nd respondent Commissioner in appointing the committee for conducting Jatara of Sri Muthyalamma Ammavari Temple, East Kanupur by Proceeding No.L.D.No.D3/6818/2016, dated 17.3.2016 as wholly arbitrary, illegal, without jurisdiction and void and consequently direct the respondents to permit the performance of Gollavedukalu by the Petitioners Families during the Jathara of Muthyalamma Ammavari Jathara, East Kanupur Village, Chillakur Mandal to be held from 29.3.2016 to 1.4.2016…” 2 2. Heard Mr V.Eswaraiah Chowdary, learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Endowments appearing for Respondents. 3. As seen from the proceeding sheet, this Court on 23.03.2016 while issuing ‘Notice before admission‟ has passed the following interim order:- “Notice before admission. The grievance of the petitioners is being only against the proceedings, dated 17.03.2016 issued by the 2nd respondent as the same is being prima facie in contravention of the Government Memo No.1246/Endowments-IV-1/2014-1, dated 18.01.2014, the same shall be suspended in so far as the „Gollavedukalu‟ until further orders”. 4. On hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners reiterated the averments made in the Writ Petition. Whereas the learned Government Pleader for Endowments submits that in pursuance of the interim orders of this Court, dated 23.03.2016 the petitioners are allowed to participate in ‘Gollavedukalu’ till date. He further submits that as the grievance of the petitioners is with regard to performance of ‘Gollavedukalu’ by the petitioners family to be held from 29.03.2016 to 01.04.2016, no cause survives in the Writ Petition at present and it may be closed. 5. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is closed.
