DEEPAK GUPTA , J.(Oral) On account of motor vehicular accident, which took place on 02.12.1998, the appellant-claimant – Sa.sh Kumar sustained injuries on account of rash and negligent driving of a bus bearing registra.on No.HR- 46/0099. Compensa.on was sought against driver; owner and the insurer of the offending vehicle. By way of Award dated 19.04.2001, the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Rohtak awarded a consolidated compensa.on of `1,10,000/- along with interest. 2. The only conten.on raised by learned counsel for the appellant-claimant before this Court so as to seek enhancement of compensa.on is that there is permanent disability of 15% suffered by the claimant and he should be compensated accordingly. 3. With the consent of learned counsel for both the par.es, the present appeal is hereby disposed of by enhancing the compensa.on amount from `1,10,000/- to `1,75,000/-. The enhanced compensa.on amount of `65,000/- shall be payable to the appellant-claimant along with interest @ 7.5% per annum from the date of filing of claim pe..on .ll its realiza.on.
