JUSTICE RAJESH SEKHRI, JUDGE ORDER 01.08.2025 Petitioners have filed the present joint petition for the quashment of cross FIRs, one lodged by the petitioner No. 1, i.e., FIR No. 149/2020 registered with Police Station, Bahu Fort along with charge-sheet No. 107/2020 pending in the Court of learned 2nd Additional Munsiff, Jammu under Section 452,323,504,506 IPC and the other lodged by petitioner No. 5, i.e., FIR No. 145/2020 registered with Police Station, Bahu Fort along with charge-sheet No. 44/2020 pending in the Court of learned 3rd Additional Munsiff, Jammu, on the premise that they have arrived at an amicable settlement and petitioners No. 1 and 5 have been granted mutual divorce by the Competent Court of learned Additional Principal, Judge Family Court, Jammu in case titled, “Rishi Ralli vs. Isha Chib” vide judgment dated 29.01.2025. Statements of the petitioners have been reduced into writing, whereby they have stated that marriage between petitioners No. 1 Sr.No.27 2 CRM(M) No. 672/2025 and 5 stands mutually dissolved and they have no objection in case the impugned FIRs are quashed. The petitioners have been identified by their respective counsels. In view of the above, the present petition is allowed and the impugned FIR No. 145/2020 along with charge-sheet No. 44/2020 and FIR No. 149/2020 along with charge-sheet No. 107/2020 are quashed.
