The present appeal has been filed after an inordinate delay of 911 days against the order dated 15.07.2022 passed in W.P.No.12898/2022 (LA-KIADB). 2. We note that the appellants had also filed a writ appeal (W.A.No.1282/2022) against the impugned judgment which was disposed of by an order dated 04.01.2023 with liberty to file review petition. The review petition (R.P.No.89/2023 and connected matters) was dismissed on 24.01.2024. However, it is noted that the present appeal is filed more than a year after the said batch of review petitions were dismissed. 3. It is relevant to note that various writ petitions were filed by the respondents claiming that the acquisition of certain lands pursuant to the final notification dated 07.05.2007 issued under Section 28(1) of the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Act, - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:39560-DB WA No. 233 of 2025 1966 has lapsed as neither any award was passed nor any compensation has been paid. 4. It is stated that similar orders passed in various petitions quashing the said notification had been appealed before this Court and the same were dismissed as well. 5. Aggrieved by one of the orders dismissing the appeal, the appellants had challenged the same before the Supreme Court. However, the SLP (SLP No.25239/2018) preferred was dismissed on 06.08.2018. 6. We find no grounds to condone the delay in filing the present appeal. The application is dismissed. Consequently, the appeal is also dismissed. 7. Pending application stands disposed of.
