The petitioner has preferred present writ petition inter-alia with the prayer to quash the order dated 10.10.2024 passed by the respondent no.2-District Magistrate, Prayagraj. Further prayer is made to direct the respondent no.2 to cancel the license no.8007 issued in the name of Pramod Shukla/respondent no.3. 2. A preliminary objection has been raised by learned Standing Counsel that against the aforesaid order statutory alternative remedy is available to the petitioner to file an appeal under Section 18 of The Arms Act, 1959. 3. It is also admitted by counsel for the petitioner. 4. In this view of the matter, present writ petition is dismissed on the ground of availability of statutory alternative remedy available to the petitioner under Section 18 of The Arms Act, 1959.
