The Court made the following Order:
The petitioner is challenging the proceedings dated 04.08.2011, whereby the services of the petitioner were dispensed with.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the said proceedings are bad in law, as they were issued without the issuance of any notice.

The respondents, in their counter-affidavit, submit that the engagement of outsourcing persons for the purpose of implementing of housing scheme through the respondent corporation was proposed by the State and respondent corporation outsourced certain work of overseeing the progress. The work was outsourced for a certain period of time and the respondents have the power to dispense with the services of any outsourced person if their work is found unsatisfactory. The respondents also submit in their counter-affidavit that twelve persons working as work inspectors on an outsourced basis were dispensed with, as they failed to achieve the targets.
4. That apart, it is submitted in the counter-affidavit that the outsourcing of work was purely on a temporary basis for a period of 3 to 4 months and the continuance of the said outsourcing agency would be at the sole discretion of the respondents.
5. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondents and after perusing the record, it is found that the services of the petitioner were engaged for a limited period of time and considering the fact that the scheme for which

the outsourcing agency was engaged has also been completed, no further orders are required in this writ petition.
6. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
