The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Manika P.S. Case No. 96 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 15, 22(b) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, NDPS, Latehar. On 17.09.2025, Manika Police, on the basis of confidential information intercepted a truck bearing Registration No. HP64C-3168 from a place near Manika Thana Gate, Latehar. On search, 4.747 kgs of Doda were found loaded on the seized truck. Co-accused persons were apprehended while they were travelling in the said vehicle. It was submitted that though the petitioner is named in the F.I.R., but his name has transpired in confession of co-accused persons. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating has been recovered from his possession. It was further submitted that co-accused Mukesh Kumar @ Mukesh Kumar Verma has been granted bail by this Court earlier. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, NDPS, Latehar, in connection with Manika P.S.
