1. The instant petition has been filed against the order dated 14/09/2023 passed by the Respondent No.2, whereby the Champi ASHUTOSH MISHRA Digitally signed by ASHUTOSH MISHRA Date: 2025.08.07 17:42:40 +0530
2 / 3 dam has been allotted to Respondent No.5 for fishing purpose despite the fact that the said dam should have given to the petitioner society.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that pursuant to an advertisement issued on 19/07/2023 by the respondent authorities, inviting applications for allotment of Champ Dam for fishing lease for 10 years the petitioner and Respondent No.5 have applied for the same and the said pond has been allotted to Respondent No.5 violating the lease allotment rules mentioned in New Machhua Neeti Policy 2022 of the State Government. Learned counsel at this juncture would confine his prayer to direct the respondents to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 08/07/2024 (Annexure P/5) within a time frame.
3. Learned State counsel submits that they have no objection in deciding the representation of the petitioner.
4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties at length and perused the documents with utmost circumspection.

Considering the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner, it is directed that the Respondent No.2 shall decide the pending representation of the petitioner dated 08/07/2024 (Annexure P/5) expeditiously as soon as possible after giving opportunity of hearing to all the concerned parties including the Respondent No.5 and thereafter shall decide the same in accordance with law.

6. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the respondent authorities shall be at liberty to decide the representation on its own merits.
7. With the aforesaid observation, the instant writ petition stands
