This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer:
“….to issue a Writ of Mandamus or an other appropriate Writ, Order or direction declaring the action of Respondents , particularly 5th and 6th Respondent herein, in calling, harassing and threatining the petitioners without any necessity as arbitrary, illegal unwarranted , unconstitutional and against the principles of Natural Justice and violation of Article 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondents not to interfere with the personal liberty of the Petitioner, and pass.…”
2. None represented for the petitioners. 3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that a criminal case has been registered against the petitioners in Crime No.13 of 2018, on the file of Nandikotkur Urban Police Station, Kurnool District, for offences punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code (for short ‘IPC’). Learned Assistant Government Pleader would further submit that, since the crime has been registered, the petitioners are being called to the police station. 4
