JUSTICE SOUMITRA SAIKIA ORDER 02.09.2026 Heard Mr. M Dutta, learned Senior counsel assisted by Mr. L Deka, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. S Chutia, learned Standing Counsel, Elementary Education. This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the suspension order dated 09.08.2024 whereby the petitioner was placed under suspension. By the said writ petition, the petitioner challenges the suspension order as being not authorized and unwarranted and with a further direction to re-instate the writ petitioner in service. Notices in the matter were issued. Thereafter by order dated 14.08.2026, the authorities had reinstated the petitioner who was a Senior Assistant in the Office of the District Elementary Education Officer, Morigaon in his original place of posting and pending finalization of the departmental proceedings against him. Copy of this order has been placed before the Court which is kept in the case record. Considering that the writ petitioner’s grievance has been redressed by reinstating the petitioner in his original place of posting, there appears to be no further grievance in the writ petition. Accordingly the writ petition stands closed in view of the order dated 14.08.2026 whereby the petitioner stood reinstated in his original place of posting.
