The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Gumla P.S. Case No. 168/2025 corresponding to NDPS Case No. 14/2025, for the offences registered under Sections 27(b)(ii) of the Drug & Cosmetics Act and Sections 21, 21(c) & 22(b) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned A.S.J.-II, Gumla. 3. On 28.05.2025 at about 3:10 P.M., Gumla police on the basis of confidential information raided the house of the petitioner and seized 120 bottles of cough syrup and drugs from there. 4. It was submitted that petitioner is in custody since 29.05.2025. 5. Considering the fact that commercial quantity of cough syrup was recovered from house of the petitioner, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail.
