A supplementary affidavit has been filed today indicating that on 20.4.2024, the compromise entered into between the petitioner and the respondent no. 4 Gajendra Pal Singh had been verified by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Rampur. 3. In view of the verification, we find that the compromise is a genuine one and since the matter has been compromised, no useful purpose would be served by keeping the first information report which was lodged by the respondent no. 4 pending. Therefore, the first information report dated 19.4.2022 which had given rise to Case Crime No. 213 of 2022 under Sections 420, 406, 506, 467, 468 and 471 IPC is quashed. 4.
