3. Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, through its Secretary, Jaipur, Rajasthan Agriculture Management Institute, Premises, Durgapura, Jaipur, Rajasthan- 302018 ----Respondents For Petitioner(s) : Mr. Vikash Ghosalya Mr. Deendayal Dhabas For Respondent(s) : Mr. Nalin G. Narain HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE MANEESH SHARMA Order 16/09/2025
1. By way of an instant writ petition, the petitioners are seeking direction to allow them to submit online/offline application forms
[2025:RJ-JP:37731] (3 of 4) [CW-8028/2025] for the post of Fourth Grade Employee Direct Recruitment, 2024, pursuant to the advertisement No.19/2024. 2. It is not disputed that pursuant to the advertisement No.19/2024, the schedule for submission of the application forms commenced from 21.03.2025 to 19.04.2025. Petitioners filed an instant writ petition on 19.05.2025, i.e., after the expiry of the last cutoff date for submitting online application forms. 3. Counsel for petitioners states that petitioners are eligible to apply, and on the last date of submission of online application i.e. 19.04.2025, petitioners tried to submit their online application forms, but due to a server error/other technical glitch, they were not receiving OTP to submit the online forms, and their forms were not accepted. 4.
Be that as it may, petitioners have filed the writ petition after expiry of the last date of submission of application forms, and since examinations are scheduled to commence from 19.09.2025, allowing petitioners to submit online/offline application forms at this stage would tantamount to interference in the last cutoff date, i.e., 19.04.2025. Fixing a cut-off date is within the province of the respondent-recruitment agency. In the opinion of this Court, the legal position is no more res-integra that the cut off date as notified by the recruitment agency, to submit online application forms, should be adhered strictly and should not be lightly interfered or extended, else the process would become unending. 5. Since the petitioners have not explained the delay in filing the writ petition as the last date for submission of application forms was 19.04.2025, and the present writ petition has been filed on 19.05.2025. No case is made out by the petitioners to
[2025:RJ-JP:37731] (4 of 4) [CW-8028/2025] interfere with the cut-off date or extending the same in exercising the jurisdiction of the judicial review under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. 6. In that view of the matter, the prayer made by the petitioners cannot be accepted at this belated stage, and accordingly, the writ petition, being devoid of merits, is hereby dismissed. 7. Stay application and other pending application(s), if any, stand disposed of. (MANEESH SHARMA),J DEEPA-244s
