Hemanth Kumar, learned Counsel appearing on behalf of Sri D.V. Nagarjuna Babu, learned counsel for the Writ Petitioner and Ms. Kothapalli Aishwarya Chowdary, learned counsel representing Sri V.V.Satish, learned Standing Counsel for A.P.E.P.D.C.L. 2. Ms. Kothapalli Aishwarya Chowdary, learned counsel representing Sri V.V.Satish, learned Standing Counsel for A.P.E.P.D.C.L., has submitted the Written Instructions furnished by the Deputy Executive Engineer (Operation), A.P.E.P.D.C.Ltd, Bhimavaram, dated 04.07.2025. Copy of it is supplied to the Counsel for the Writ Petitioner and the same is taken on record. 3. The relevant portion of the Written Instructions is usefully extracted hereunder: “But after a long gap, the petitioner paid Rs.68,774/- in the month of July, 2020 and paid Rs.50,000/- in the month of August, 2020 and paid Rs.50,000/- in the month of September, 2020 totaling Rs. 1,68,774/- to APEPDCLtd, towards back billing amount, and same are approved in EPCCB report, and the copy of the same is herewith enclosed. The said service is in "bill stopped" position.” 4. The above extract would indicate that the Petitioner has paid almost the entire due, and the current status of the Petitioner’s account would indicate that the bill has been stopped. 5. Learned Counsel for the Respondents would submit that the remark “bill stopped” would indicate that the connection is not alive. 6. In view of the fact that the Writ Petitioner has settled almost the entire amount, and that the present electricity connection of the Petitioner is not in 3 use, the remarks would indicate “bill stopped”. Therefore, no further consideration of this Writ Petition is necessary. 7. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs. 8.
