The present Writ Petition is filed seeking the following relief: “to declare the Public Auction Scheduled to be held on 23-12- 2015 by the 2nd Respondent for the Mangalagiri Muncipality Shops No. 2, 7 and 9 in Galigopuram Shopping Complex as illegal, arbitrary and it is in violation of principals of natural justice and also Article 14 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to allow the petitioners to continue in Shops No. 2,7 and 9 respectively as per the earlier Public Auction conducted on 23-10-2015 for a period from 01-11-2015 to 31-10- 2018 and pass necessary orders”. 2. The impugned auction of the shops is for the years 2015 to 2018 and in view of the passage of time, the cause in this Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication. 3. The Writ Petition is therefore dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
