The petitioner is challenging the appointment of the 4th respondent as an Anganwadi Helper and seeks a direction to appoint the petitioner as an Anganwadi Helper. 3. The present writ petition is filed on the ground that the official respondents have chosen the 4th respondent, though the 4th respondent is a resident of Ward No.30. The notification issued by the respondent Nos.1 to 3 2 relates to the appointment of an Anganwadi Helper in Ward No.29. Respondent Nos.1 to 3 have preferred to appoint the 4th respondent as an Anganwadi Helper, though she is a resident of Ward No.30. 4. The learned Assistant Government Pleader representing the respondent Nos.1 to 3 submits that the appointment of the 4th respondent is in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.21 and that the Tahsildar, Parvathipuram has issued a nativity certificate to the 4th respondent, certifying that she is the resident of Ward No.29. That apart, the 4th respondent also performed well before the selection committee and as such, was issued the order of appointment. 5. Recording the submissions of the learned Assistant Government Pleader, this Court finds no infirmity in the impugned proceedings which deserves interference by this Court. 6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. ____________________ JUSTICE HARINATH.N 28.01.2025 PNS
