No. 4931 of 2025 By way of present application, a prayer has been made to modify the conditions, imposed vide order dated 16.6.2025, passed in Cr. MPST No. 3827 of 2025. The relevant conditions, as imposed vide order dated 16.6.2025, are reproduced as under: “(i) That the applicant shall furnish personal bond in the sum of Rs. 50,000/- alongwith one surety to the like amount, to the satisfaction of the learned trial Court, within a period of four weeks from today, with an undertaking that in the event of final dismissal of the revision petition, he will surrender before the learned trial Court to serve the remainder substantive sentence; (ii) That the applicant shall deposit 30% of the cheque amount, with the learned trial Court, within a period of eight weeks from today, which shall be in addition to the amount, if any, already deposited by the applicant.” According to the applicant, he is senior citizen, aged about 80 years and facing financial hardships. Considering the aforesaid fact, the application is allowed and Condition No. (ii) is modified to the extent that instead of 30% of the cheque amount, the applicant shall deposit 15% of the cheque amount. Order dated 16.6.2025 is modified accordingly. The order, so modified, be complied with, within a period of four weeks. The application is, thus, disposed of.
