Both these bail applications arise out of the same police case and as such, these bail applications are being disposed of by this common order. The petitioners have been made accused in connection with Ormanjhi P.S. Case No. 197 of 2024(N), corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No.14 of 2025, for the offence registered under Sections 20(b)(ii)(c)/22(c)/25/29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Judicial Commissioner, Ranchi. It was submitted that 406.790 kgs. of cannabis were recovered from the joint possession of the petitioners. It was further submitted that the quantity of seized contraband comes within the purview of commercial quantity. In view of the aforesaid fact, I am not inclined to release the petitioners, on bail.
