Case No. 15 of 2025, corresponding to POCSO Case No.32 of 2025, for the offence under Section 96 of B.N.S. and cognizance taken under Section 96 of B.N.S and Sections 8 & 12 of POCSO Act, pending in the court of learned Special Judge, POCSO Cases, Chatra. Petitioner is alleged to have enticed away 17 years old daughter of the informant to leave her lawful guardianship with an intention to marry her. Statement of the victim recorded under Section 183 of B.N.S.S., earlier called for, has been received, in which, she has stated that she has left her lawful guardianship according to her own wish. Learned counsel for the informant has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail. In view of the aforesaid fact, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, POCSO Cases, Chatra, in connection with Pratappur P.S.
