Heard Ms.A.V.S.Laxmi, learned Counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-University. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that this Writ Petition was filed challenging the notifications issued by the University dated 19.12.2017, 26.12.2017 and 16.10.2017 for filing up of backlog vacancies. Learned counsel for the petitioners would further submit that a direction may be given to the respondents for issuance of fresh notification by following the norms. Learned Standing Counsel for the University i.e., the respondent No.2 4. would submit that the notifications issued which were impugned in the present petition have been cancelled, no further orders are required in this matter and the petition may be disposed of. 5. Considering the submissions made, since the impugned notifications in the present petition are cancelled, the Writ petition is disposed of. However the respondent-University is at liberty to issue fresh notification according to Governing Rules and law. There shall be no order as to costs.
