Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the present writ petition has been filed for a direction upon the Collector, Bhagalpur to dispose of the Misc. Case No. 370/2021-22 filed by the petitioners against the order passed by the Circle Officer, Kahalgaon in Record No. 2/21-22 where by the Circle Officer has issued Basgit Parcha in the name of 72 persons under the Bihar Privileged Persons Homestead Tenancy Act & Rules, 1947 (hereinafter referred as to the “B.T. Act, 1947”). 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the Basgit Parcha has been issued with respect to the Raiyatti land of the petitioners. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that the present writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to the Collector, Bhagalpur to dispose of the Misc. Case No. 370 of 2021-22, within a time-frame. 5. After hearing the learned counsels of the parties and without going into merits of the case, the present writ application is disposed of with a direction to the Collector, Bhagalpur (respondent no. 2) to dispose of the Misc. Case No. 370 of 2021-22 filed by the petitioners against the order passed by the Circle Officer, Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur in Record No. Patna High Court CWJC No.8188 of 2025(2) dt.22-05-2025 6/6 2/21-22 whereby the Circle Officer has issued Basgit Parcha in the name of 72 persons under the B.T. Act, 1947, within a period of three months from the date of receipt/ production of copy of this order in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and also by giving an opportunity of 72 Basgit Parcha Holders. 6.
