CMP No. 30696 of 2025 Learned Assistant Advocate General has placed on record instructions dated 17.04.2026, received for Special Secretary (Tech. Edu.) to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, which reads as under:- “I am directed to refer to the subject cited above and to say that the VCC has been received from Director, Vigilance department vide letter dated 09.04.2026 in respect of Sh. Jagdeep Singh, Senior Lecturer (Electronics & Communication Engg.). The matter for holding the Departmental Promotion Committee is under process and after holding the meeting of DPC the minutes will be submitted for acceptance to the Competent Authority for completion of this process and it will take atleast one month time. In this regard, it is also informed that the meeting of DPC for the post of Senior Lecturer (ECE) was held on 28.03.2026 and the minutes of said meeting has already been submitted for acceptance of Competent Authority and final acceptance is still awaited. You are, therefore, requested to apprise the Hon'ble High Court accordingly for extension of 01 month time for completing the above said process.” In light of the fact that petitioner No.2 is stated to be superannuating in the month of June, 2026, it is impressed upon the respondents to expedite the DPC and let the outcome thereof be intimated to the Court by the next date of hearing. List on 11.05.2026. In the meanwhile, the outcome of the DPC, which has been conducted for the post of Senior Lecturer (ECE) be also intimated to the Court.
