This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:- "a) issue an appropriate order, direction or writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the learned Sub Divisional Officer, Tehsil Padrauna, District Kushi Nagar to decide petitioner's case No. 406/2024 (Sunnar vs. Gaon Sabha) u/s 24 of U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 expeditiously, preferably within a period of 3 months;" It is contended that the proceedings under Section 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 is pending consideration which is registered as Case No.406 of 2024. The sole prayer made in the writ petition is for expeditious disposal of the said case. As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, or calling for counter affidavit, the matter is being disposed of with a direction upon respondent no.2-Sub Divisional Officer, Padrauna, District- Kushinagar to decide the Case No.406 of 2024, after hearing all the concerned parties, strictly in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order. With the aforesaid direction, present writ petition stands disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not adjudicated the case on merit.
