Issue writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 06-10-2023 as per Annexure-B forthwith without any further delay. b. Pass any appropriate order or direction as deems fit by this Hon’ble Court under the facts and circumstances of the case by allowing this writ petition with cost in the interest of justice and equity. 2. The petitioner, who is the employee of the Corporation, is imposed a penalty of reduction/withholding of one increment against which the petitioner is said to have preferred an appeal in the year 2023. The appeal not having been disposed is, what has driven the petitioner to this Court, in the subject petition. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that if reasonable time is granted, the appeal would be disposed in accordance with - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:14118 WP No. 101908 of 2025 law and the order of the Appellate Authority would be communicated to the petitioner. 4. In the light of the said submission, petition stands disposed of. The Appellate Authority is granted eight weeks time from today to dispose of the appeal, if not earlier.
