The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Dhanbad G.R.P.S. Case No. 63 of 2025, for the offence under Sections 20(b)(II)(B) and 29 of NDPS Act, pending in the court of Sri V. K. Tiwari, learned Sessions Judge, Dhanbad. On 15.07.2025 at about 11:30 p.m., Dhanbad Police on the basis of confidential information apprehended this petitioner and co-accused from Platform No. 02-03 of Dhanbad Railway Station. On search, 20 kgs of cannabis were recovered from their joint possession. It was submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. It was further submitted that a separate seizure list was prepared and the charge-sheet has been submitted in this case. In view of the fact that commercial quantity of cannabis was recovered from the joint possession of the petitioner and co-accused, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail.
