ORAL ORDER
Petitioner has preferred this petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, apprehending his arrest in crime No.261/2025 of Hennur Police Station, Bengaluru City, registered for the offences punishable under Section 109, 115(2), 118(1), 352, 3(5) and 351(2) of BNS, 2023.
2. Heard the learned counsel for petitioner, learned HCGP for respondent/State and perused the material on record.
3. In the complaint lodged by the injured by name Sridhar R, he has alleged that on 17.06.2025, at about 7.30 p.m., when he had been to K.V. Bar and Restaurant situated opposite to 'Trust In Hospital' on Horamaavu Main Road, a person calling himself as Uday, a resident of Jayanthinagar came and enquired about one Mayur. Complainant abused and scolded him and the said person

went away. Thereafter, at about 9.30 p.m., while the complainant was talking over phone with one Vijaya Prasad, accused Nos.1 to 3 came in a motorcycle, abused him in filthy language and picked up quarrel with him, accused No.1 stabbed with a sharp object like knife on his left thigh and caused bleeding injuries, accused Nos.2 and 3 assaulted with hands and others who were present along with them also assaulted with hands.
4. It is alleged that the accused have assaulted the complainant with a sharp knife like object on his left thigh and assaulted with hands with an intention to take away his life.
5. As per wound certificate, complainant has sustained one wound on the left thigh, which is stated to be simple in nature. Accused and the complainant are strangers. There is no specific motive alleged to commit the offence. Injury is not on the vital part of the body. Petitioner has no criminal antecedents. Detention of

petitioner in prison will have an adverse effect on him. Accused Nos. 2 and 3 have been enlarged on bail. Hence, by imposing necessary conditions, relief sought in the petition can be granted. Accordingly, the following:
ORDER Petition is allowed. Petitioner/accused No.1 in Crime No.261/2025 registered at Hennur Police Station, Bengaluru City, shall be released in the event of his arrest, subject to following conditions: a) He shall appear before the Investigating Officer within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees fifty thousand only), with two sureties for the likesum. b) He shall mark his attendance at the jurisdictional police station on every Sunday between 11.00 A.M. and 1.00 P.M., till conclusion of the investigation.

c) He shall furnish proof of his residential address and shall inform the I.O./Court, if there is change in the address. d) He shall co-operate with the investigation of the case. e) He shall not tamper with the prosecution evidence/witnesses either directly or indirectly. f) He shall be regular in attending the Court proceedings.
