JUSTICE S G PANDIT AND THE HON'BLE MRS JUSTICE GEETHA K.B. ORAL ORDER (PER: THE HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE S G PANDIT) This contempt petition is filed under Sections 11 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 complaining disobedience of the interim order dated 22.03.2025 granted in W.A. No.100100/2022 and W.A. No.100086/2022, whereby this Court directed the respondent/accused to provide appointment to the complainant as Hindi Teacher under Category III-B, if he is otherwise eligible, within a period of three weeks. As there was no compliance of the interim order, the present contempt petition was filed on 23.07.2025 before this Court. 2. Even after receipt of contempt notice, the respondent/accused has not cared to comply the order of this Court. Thereafter, a memo dated 13.10.2025 was filed enclosing order dated 10.10.2025 by which the complainant was appointed as Hindi Teacher and was posted to Kottur-Mulabagilu, Kolara District. Thereafter, affidavit dated 23.10.2025 as well as affidavit dated 27.10.2025 of the respondent/accused is filed. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:14465-DB CCC No. 100270 of 2025 3. This Court had granted three week’s time to comply the interim order. However, the accused has taken nearly seven months to comply the order, that too subsequent to filing of the contempt petition. The accused has tried to explain the delay in complying with this Court’s order in his affidavit dated 27.10.2025. The explanation is not satisfactory. It appears that the accused has not taken any action to implement the order of this Court from March, 2025 till October, 2025. However, taking note of the fact that the order is complied as on this day by appointing the complainant as Hindi Teacher, we drop further contempt proceedings. Pending interlocutory applications, if any, stand disposed of as not surviving for consideration. Sd/- (S G PANDIT) JUDGE Sd/- (GEETHA K.B.) JUDGE KMS, CT:VP LIST NO.: 1 SL NO.: 3
