The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Dhanwar P.S. Case No. 140 of 2014, corresponding to POCSO Case No.20 of 2014, M.C.A. No.1935 of 2025, G.R. Case No. 1904 of 2014, S.T. Case No. 304 of 2014, for the offence under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the court of learned Special Judge, POCSO Act, Giridih. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 2273/2025, vide order dated 24.03.2025 with the liberty to renew his prayer for bail after six months. This is a case of misuse of the privilege of bail. It was submitted that petitioner has himself surrendered in the Court below and petitioner is in custody for more than a year. Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, POCSO Act, Giridih, in connection with Dhanwar P.S.
