(Oral) This criminal writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking protection of life and liberty of the petitioner from the hands of private respondents and further to direct the official respondents to decide the representation (Annexure P-1) submitted by the petitioner. In compliance of the order dated 22.04.2025, passed by this Court, affidavit of Gurpreet Singh Bhullar IPC, Commissioner of Police, Amritsar has been filed on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 3. Learned State counsel refers to para No. 5 of the said affidavit and submits that FIR No. 33 dated 29.04.2025 under Section 332 (C) of Bhartiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 has been registered at Police Station Majitha, District Amritsar against ASI Paramjit Singh and one IPC officer has been assigned the supervision of the investigation and the investigation would be completed expeditiously in a fair and impartial manner.
