ORDER:
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication and that the writ petition has become infructuous. However, the petitioner seeks liberty to file an appropriate application before the concerned authorities for the issuance of a fresh passport.
Recording the said submissions, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous, with liberty as prayed for. No order as to costs.
As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
