Mr. L.N. Sharma, learned Additional Advocate General, appears and waives service of notice on behalf of the respondents. Petitioner, a Deputy Ranger, seeks implementation of office order dated 23.07.2025 (Annexure P-3), whereunder, he has been transferred and posted at Forest Block Tissa, Forest Range Tissa under Forest Division Churah. Learned Additional Advocate General has placed on record office instructions from the Deputy Conservator of Forests, Bharmour Forest Division alongwith a request letter dated 31.07.2025 from the Chief Conservator of Forests, Chamba Forest Circle, seeking cancellation of petitioner’s aforesaid transfer order, citing reasons in support thereof. 1Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes. 2 Learned Additional Advocate General prays for and is allowed two weeks’ time to file reply. List on 09.09.2025.” 2. During the course of hearing today, learned Assistant Advocate General placed on record copy of office order dated 05.09.2025 and on that basis submitted that the transfer order dated 23.07.2025 sought to be enforced by the petitioner stands cancelled. In view of above, this writ petition to stand disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. It is for the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy for the redressal of his surviving grievances, if any, in accordance with law.
